Gas station exploded -> ignited two oil tanks nearby the chemical warehouse -> chemical exploded, the firefighters failed to put it out and a series of explosions triggered by the chemicals in the container terminal(Ethanol and others), all firefighters/police, people who were watching nearby died on scene instantly.
No one within a 1 km distance is alive

Considering the population of China, and how the factory was surrounded by just complex and apartment buildings, and casualties include injuries + deaths, I'd say it's a fair gap. |

I've followed the explosion for a while now, and all it's saying is 300 injuries.

No way it was only 13 deaths. (new confirmed number)
Chinese safety standards are so terrible AND their population density is high so I doubt it was anything less than 70.
