It's a feature that might happen in the future, and the admins could definately do it.... and it would be a major convienience to not have to go through the process of searching...

No, you'd get 5 friend requests a game to 1 request every 3 games, as for famous people like Telamon and Ozzypig, you'd get one from almost everyone in a game. |

Some people are lazy, but you can't do anything about it. And also, its not just, "Minimizing, searching, and send," some people don't like memorizing names. Depending on the ingame friend request system, you could just type in the name(When you can see the playerlist) and click send request. Now if you estimate the timing for both of them, you could tell a big difference. For proof, I even set up a hypothesis, question, and results :
Question : Which request is faster? In-Game, or Out-Game?
In-Game Request : Type in name[Variables of how long the name is] (3) Clicking send (2) {Total : 5 Seconds}
Out-Game Request : Minimize the game (3) Clicking People [Variables of internet connection] (2) Typing the name [Variable of how long the name is] (3) Clicking Profile (2) Clicking Send Request (2) Clicking Send (2) {Total : 14 Seconds}
Results : Do the math. Out-Game {14}
In-Game {- 5}
