Roblox Virtual Reality - WORKING!

Please leave a comment below if you support this idea / reality. I love roblox, and have been playing for years. Technology has advanced a tenfold since then, and I thought why not try to use roblox on virtual reality. Using google cardboard, Trinus VR, split screen software, and a newer phone with gyro - capabilities. I have successfully got roblox running with head tracking, so I can look around in the game. It is a bit laggy, because this is the alpha setup, but please comment below if you would like me to continue to expierement so I could psot a guide on how to use it! If you already have a good smartphone (Kitkat Android+, 1080p screen) you can do it on the cheap. Possibilities: VR in roblox. Realistic head tracking View roblox landscapes in 3d Virtual reality. VR sword fighting! (I have tried it - limited capabilities in alpha mode due to lag) Limitations: You need a newer model android phone do do this It needs a high resolution display Costs: 250 ish - Buy a good android and headset 20 dollars. If you have an android already! Please comment!

Yeah and then ROBLOX admins can trap us in the game and say if you die in here you will die in real world and then we need to beat the game in order to escape ROBLOX

I Do like the idea of VRMMO's though. According to SAO we should have that technology in 10 years. i don't think it's gonna happen though until longer then that

@Pikachuiscoolio Mabye you didnt read the whole thing - It already is working! I have it running on my computer / headset today with some basic head tracking software, I can actually look around. It is not just an idea, it is a reality.

What about support for the Oculus rift? It should be like this, there would be a button in the menu that says, "Enabled Virtual Reality Mode". It would allow Virtual Reality devices or something like that to work with ROBLOX. Then the view would be like a rectangle. When you look around, your character's head would move too. And all the interfaces would be on the screen. That's basically it I guess.

Like SAO you should be asleep while you play to give it more effect and so you dont hurt anyone around you if its a fighting game

bump TrackIR is enabled in my solution too, so rift games can be played with my setup. If someone found a war to convert trackir to mouse tracking it world work with Rift.
