There should be support for putting decals on an individual face of the union instead of the whole side (which doesn't look right). This would reduce part count while still being able to texture these unions without using extra parts. It'd be nice if you could do this by "stamping" the decal onto the union with a negative part (basically doing the same thing, but you would be able to stamp a decal in a certain position without creating an indentation, if possible...).
