Total support, offsite links need to just be banned... Honestly? Go look at the comment sections? All related to people saying come here and get gift cards? When they ask you for your passcode and stuff.. honestly, even worst, I get spammed by this crap... I have to block my msging system because of nubs like this...

I see no issue with this. Every rule has exceptions, every exception loopholes. For example, it is illegal to speed yet people who speed on the highway are left alone and cops do it all the time simply because it is safer, not to mention impossible to stop. People can't use drugs, UNLESS it's medicinal. See what I'm getting at? Every rule has exceptions. This one just has more than most. Big deal. Do the links bother you? No! Do they bother anybody but minimods? No! Which brings me to my final point... minimod.

Yes, rules do have exceptions. The speeding law states that you should never go above the speed limit, but people do it anyway. This is because there are no exceptions to this law. The law simply states that it is illegal to go above the speed limit. Going 1-5 mph above it is socially acceptable over time. However, the offsite link rule does have a set of exceptions. When exceptions are explicitly provided, the rule should be followed strictly. If there were no exceptions to the offsite link rule, I would be fine with it. However, certain sites that are not explicitly mentioned on the exceptions list are still allowed, but it is unclear to us if they are allowed or banned. If there are more exceptions, the moderators should add them to the list so maintain strictness. If all links are welcome, the rule should be removed completely. I just want this rule to be more coherent. The way it is being exercised right now is very vague and unclear.
