Kyric's eyes turn to Castle Hawk, and he points to it, setting off on the trail towards the castle.

Felix sneered with suspicion, and reluctantly followed Kyric. |

The party reached the castle gates.

"Locked!" he grunted, pushing against the gate.
~Felix Lominus~
Felix spoke for the first time today, he obviously had some sort of grip around the castle. "I know a secret entrance." He said, nearly whispered.
"Well, what is it?" Kyric asked eagerly, turning to Felix. |

I looked up and down the castle. "This should be in the hands of a more known king." |

I stopped behind them. |

Felix seemed VERY familiar with the castle walls. It set Kyric thinking. Felix felt around the grass a bit, then with a cry of "ah!" He lifted up a hidden trapdoor, covered with grass and moss. Kyric never would have guessed. There was a ladder leading into the depths underneath the castle.
"Light your torches." Felix said, sliding down the ladder into the darkness. Kyric lit a torch and followed suit. |

I walked after them, starting my descent down the ladder. |

I had no torch so I just followed. |

Kyric waved his torch around the dark tunnel. It seemed to go on a long while.
Felix merely shrugged and strode down the underground hallway.
Kyric felt a chill creep down his spine as he followed Felix, something was here...Something crawling around in the bends...Eyes poking from holes in the walls.. |

As I reached the tunnel, I realized I could not see two feet in front of myself. I quickly muttered a spell of illumination. A ball of light flashed brightly, and then filled the whole tunnel with light. |

Kyric turned to Zacaris. "Much obliged. Thank you." He said, blowing out the torch and putting it away.
Kyric's smile faded as a loud shriek was heard round the bend, and Felix was thrown into Ezekiel, and a large monster pounded after them on all fours, scarred, green, with unkempt fur, tusks, red eyes, and tattered clothing.
Those who knew magic recognized it immediately. A corrupted race. It was an orc, but corrupted by means of magic.
Kyric let out a yell of fright and drew his sword. |

I had the wind knocked out of me from felix slamming me. "What was that?" I said when my breath came back. |

Walking the halls he hears a loud screech from somewere in the castle depths. "Dang intruders." He then briskly walks away to the exit of the tunnel to catch them off gaurd.

The corrupted beast drew closer, roaring. It reared up, pounding its chest. Kyric readied his sword, nervously.
Felix pushed off of Ezekiel and ran over to Kyric, where he drew his own sword, and awaited to strike the charging beast. |

I drew my elven steel, leaping towards the monster. I struck it in the side of it's front left leg, making a deep gash where my sword had entered. The beast roared, and then tried to swat me away. I nimbly jumped away, and then started casting a spell. "BRISINGR!" A massive fireball appeared, shooting towards the Orc/Monster. |

The beast caught on fire, and roared, beating its chest.
Kyric and Felix both took advantage of this, and stabbed their swords right through the beast's stomach, and through the spinal cord. The beast was paralyzed, and it fell backwards, creating a loud crash. Kyric and Felix withdrew their blades and studied the writhing monster. |
