+rep or -rep.
You can vote people if they never scam you, or if they did and you're on their friends list you -rep them.
This is a feature from Steam, where friends say +rep in the profile comments section to show traders/players that they're legit, friendly, never scam and so on.

Every profile should have a profile section where friends can comment ideas for games and stuff. But, every comment still will be moderated. This feature is also on Steam, where friends just talk together in the comment section, comment random stuff and so on.

Trolling alt accounts can damage a person's reputation or people could troll just because.
Friends can talk together in a party of in-game. Emphasis on "comment random stuff," which is basically admitting to a spam issue that you haven't addressed.

Okay, but the comment section will not be spammed, since there will be a privacy button on who can and can't comment. Plus the profile user can delete the spam off the section if needed. |

What's the point of comments if you only allow a set specific list of people that can comment on it? Let's say the person is a scammer. That person might restrict a truthful, honest person from commenting on their profile and raising the scamming awareness. To solve all these problems, just don't implement this feature. |

well, it could work, but the comments may be spammed by spam bots and scams, so new users will likely fall for them, and the rep can be biased just cause you don't like the person, so it has it's downsides.

if i wanted to up my rep, i'd just make a bunch of alts
same with someone else. if i didn't like them, i could make alts and down their rep.
