Olav I is crowned in Stockholm. He releases several decrees, for example organizing the districts of his Kingdom into "Fyrds," and creating leaders of these Fyrds.
Within the Fyrds, all the able-bodied, healthy men are given basic training with axes, swords, shields, and spears as well as being trained to execute a shield wall with absolute skill. |

Make sure that this training becomes hereditary- boys and some girls are to be trained in basic combat skills with the previously mentioned weapons and shield wall.

Olav issues another decree which should improve agriculture by forming the three field system. Sim does not want to describe this all the way through, but it means that the people will eat well all throughout the year. Its implementation caused population spikes in England and a more than enough food to go around. Pls? |

((This is an exaggeration. If a Kingdom commits to a joint invasion, it is most often all or nothing. I direct your attention to the Fourth Crusade and the French-Venetian siege of Constantinople. It was a team effort, so both factions threw their full weight into the fight. And once again, had I requested seven thousand, it would have been five that came, or at least four. Simply requesting a certain number doesn't mean they'll send less than that.))

Ask for three thousand more from the west- the plunder will be great, and King Olav personally promises he will send in ten thousand of his own troops if the request is met, yet still the gains made will be split evenly. |
