In an interview with the American Hockey League's Toronto Maple Leafs coach Trevor Hellings, we asked him who was his first round pick for S1.
"Currently, I am not announcing the first pick, but the player is definitely someone that I know well, and has been with me in the NHLFLL. If he is picked by another team, I got a few more draftees up my sleeve that I'll want to draft."
We also asked him what he'll be focused on when he get's his team set up.
"I want to focus mostly on defense. I want to be a team that can score aswell, but not allow alot of goals in a game that we've basically scored a bunch."
The AHL draft is set to be after the Draft Combine on August 19th. We'll see you then!
