a few days ago during the finals for ESL Cologne 2015 (CS:GO) there were 700,000 people watching it over twitch, and I think 11,000 at the arena watching it. So yeah, it's a real thing, I wouldn't call it an actual SPORT but it has the same competitive play as sports |
