draw a line on a graph
now find the exact area under that, even if the line is curvy
this may seem useless
but it is useful, for example, finding distance when the y axis is velocity and x is time
because distance = time*velocity
you can find the distance travelled by doing the summation of the area under
this can be done via integrals |
