When our life expectancy is at 79 which is relatively high for a 300,000,000 populous. If most Americans were so fat shouldn't our life expectancy be around 65-70? To me this is just an urban legend having lived in America all my life and seeing how uncommon obese people actually occur in my life.

Our "obese" standards are higher than the rest of the world. If you went by Japanese obese standards we would be at somewhere around the 65% range. With European standards we would be at 30% BUT at US Standards we are around 10% if not well below.

Well yeah, but those countries are underdeveloped and can't sustain eating healthy. Either way food is growing less and less healthy for us to eat anyway.

"growing less and less healthy for us to eat anyway" On the contrary, maybe after 2009 a bunch of health regulations had began. And also organic companies had SKYROCKETED in sales.

And yet we pay more and more medical bills each year and diabetes and heart disease is growing more and more common then say 20 years ago.

51% of older individuals are obese. Obesity is still on the rise for childhood problems. Meaning our population will encounter awful scenarios if our children are not notified about the importance of health, fitness, and nutrition. We must apply such rules and regulations to decrease the amount of unhealthy eating habits. But does this imply to children alone? No. Adults and parents are held responsible for this crime which is not a criminal record crime. "For The Greater Good & For The Brighter Future!"

By the way, never trust the FDA. Their policies are just as corrupted as our healthcare system. "For The Greater Good & For The Brighter Future!"

"51% of older individuals are obese" By European standards. And also, more people consistently go to the doctors office than they did 20 years ago.
