The United Kingdom is a unitary democracy governed within the framework of a constitutional monarchy, in which the Monarch is the head of state and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is the head of government.
Again! Its a constitutional Monarchy, with democracy working inside of it. It is not a pure democracy. The United States is a democracy. The United Kingdom is not!
So lord, please stop trying to turn a government into something its not. its a Unitary democracy, aka democracy within a constitutional monarchy. |

Your idiot ass is stupid; Britain only held off things in WW2 becaue they NEVER ACTUALLY GOT ATTACKED WITH GROUND TROOPS. Your ground troops got decimated early in the war, I wonder why? Oh yeah, because America wasn't there. Look at Dunkirk, it was a failure. The Enigma Machine would have been cracked later, and was actually cracked in 1932 by a Polish General Staff, with the help of the French.

A Constitutional Monarchy is also considered a democracy, so you're saying Canada, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, and the Netherlands aren't democratic nations?
And if you think that the United States is a pure democracy then you are also wrong, because a pure democratic society would have no government and all the people voted on each matter. |

I'm sorry, but not. The real champs of World War 2 were the Soviets, not the British, and not the Americans. Without us holding of Japan in the East, the Soviets wouldn't have been able to fight as effectively and with as great of numbers. Also Lend Lease probably helped you guys out too.

and you admitted your a constitutional monarchy. You may do democracy things within your government but what your government type is called is called a constitutional monarchy.
And no the United states isn't a pure democracy, we are a "Federal presidential constitutional republic" which is the closet thing to a true democracy. So the united states is considered a democracy more than the United Kingdom would be. However it is true that both have democracy things.
Greece wasn't a pure democracy either, it was a republic. Because the few made the laws for all. Like the United states does. United states is the oldest living form of democracy. It pulled ideas to form its government from many countries. |

A republic and constitutional monarchy are both democracies, the only difference is that instead of the president signing laws into action, the Prime Minister and the King/Queen both sign the bill to put them into practice
Both governments run in the exact same way with different branches of government, voting, terms in office ect, the only difference is the monarch must also sign the bill. |

Karzem, North America heavily assisted Europe against the Germans, lol. It's proved on how after Germany took over parts of France and then Pearl Harbor happened and North America reacted.
