Wasn't it Obama who said the UK was the US'S strongest ally. And the US often involve the UK in any war they plan on due to the view of british forces relative to the US by certain countries, due to the UK'S treatment in RECENT history being a decent standard. The only wars in recent history they did not get involved in in a fighting state Falklands Suiz Vietnam, these are big 3 fro either.

America would have offered one of your carriers to Britain during the falklands if we'd lost ours. Also the then president convinced Maggie not to nuke Argentina. So that's something at least.
