UNITED STATES ARMY RULES AND REGULATIONS
All soldiers within the United States Army are required to follow specific rules and regulations to insure that we have a stable and operational Army. We are the key element of the United States Armed forces. This guide is made to go over the rules that a soldier must follow, they include; Chain of Command, Training Procedures, Uniform Regulations, Addressing, and more.

Training Procedures
The Army Training and Doctrine Command is incharge of the training, and equipping of future, and current United States Soldiers. The Training Command will hold 2-3 Basic Trainings a day, E1-E3’s can attend these trainings and possibly rank up. They will also do all rank trainings, these are trainings intended for the ranks of E2-O4. You must show excellent leadership skills, and basic US Army Skills in order to be promoted in these kinds of trainings.

Uniform Regulations
Soldiers have a few uniform that they should know about. They are the following:
Army Service Uniforms- Class A Dress Uniform
Class B’s- Class B Formals
Combat Gear- Gear used while dealing with weapons, or deployed on a warzone
OCP BDU- The standard uniform worn on any base, and worn during trainings.
Army Service Uniforms are used for the following:
Ceremonies, Drill, and for visiting domestic bases (Officer only)
Class B Formals are used for the following:
Informal events
Combat Gear is used for the following:
Combat Situations
OCP BDU’s are used for the following:
Training, Promotions, Drill.

There are certain ways soldiers must address each other.
Enlisted Address other Enlisted members by their rank. For example, if a Corporal sees a Sergeant Major, they would say “Hello Sergeant Major!”
Enlisted members address Officers as “Sir” and Sir only. For example, if a Sergeant Major sees a General, they would say “Hello General Sir!” whilst Saluting them.
Officers address eachother by their rank. For Example, if a 2nd Lieutenant sees a captain, they would say. “Hello Captain.”
Officers Address Flag Officers (O7+) as Sir. For example if a Lieutenant Colonel sees a Lieutenant General, they would say “Hello General Sir!” but they would not salute.
Flag Officers address Flag Officers by their ranks, for example if a Brigadier General sees a Lieutenant General, they would say. “Hello General”
