according to cap you would be given the loss. Sad :3 @hawks uhh that being your reason you'd be given the loss doesn't exactly work. if you get pulled from a game after a terrible start and your team manages to tie the game at a point with the backup in but ends up losing you don't get the loss. it would be a no decision, though the goalie on the other team gets the win if the net is empty, the goaltender is not held accountable for a goal

When you look at the game sheets after games, the "Empty Net" is tracked as if it was a goalie in it's own right so you wouldn't get the loss.
