Here's my idea. Every year, all ROBLOX games should be uncopylocked, whether the owner wants to or not, for 1 day. Now I think it should be christmas. Why? I'll explain. There are many young children on ROBLOX, and they need to know that the world doesn't always revolve around them. They need to know: sharing is caring. So it's good to share so people can learn how to script, build and even use some bits and pieces in their own game(s). Christmas is a good time because not only do they usually get presents from their family but also because it's a day for gifts and they get more gifts. Also, if they didn't get any presents, they could get some there instead. What do you think? Do you think this will get put in place? |

They could just copy a Survive the Disasters game (Or heck, even Vyriss'), for example, and then find an image on Google Images, rename it to something like "SURVIVE LIFE AS A BIRD!" or something idiotic. No support, noobs would get money easily by scamming. |

No way, this is a REALLY BAD IDEA. What if someone is trying to make a really original idea but then someone copies them? That would be really annoying.

That idea is dumb, that means your game is only good for about a year tell 1,000 7 year olds copy it and try and make Robux off of it. That would KILL the game making part of the game because everyone could just copy it, making devs make a new game EVERY YEAR! |

OK so here are a few more ideas on why this would be good.
1. Like banana said, devs and builders would have to make new games every year. They'll have to update their games too. That'll teach ROBLOXians that if something stays the same all the time, it isn't good. Like imagine someone having a 2012 version of Work At Pizza Place today. Not many people would care anymore. It evolved.
2. Again, like banana said, there will be brand new games each year on the front page. Tired of seeing Pizza Place, Town of Robloxia and Lumber Tycoon 2? Well now have brand new games for a full year! Try them all out!
3. If people REALLY, REALLY don't want their game copied, they can just turn it into a baseplate on christmas day (the day I'd like it to be on (but that's up to the admins I'm just thinking)) and then revert it back afterwards.
4. If the game is good, that means it's a 75% chance it is already popular (sorry if phrased wrong). So people can't really take the credit without people knowing. That's why comments are there.
5. Relating up to number 4, it could also be good that comments be ALWAYS allowed so people know it is copied or not. People could also vote and if the game is said 'copied' after a certain amount of votes, then there will be a label on the game 'ORIGINAL BUILDER:[...]' where it would say the original builder of the game.
PS: This is actually not a bait. As much as I bait in OT and such, this is 100% serious and I'm ready for anything to make this happen! |
