It's not copyright. Nobody in their right mind is going to sue a company because it's users mentioned the name of the game. Firstly, they'd get laughed out of court, and secondly, it's free advertisement so they have nothing to complain about.
I believe they censored it because a large portion of the fanbase seems to be fat basement dwelling freaks in their late 30s who's favorite hobbies include drawing inappropriate art of the game's characters and asking their mothers for gas money. In order to maintain the image of ROBLOX's "kid friendly website" they just blocked it from being posted since they don't want kids stumbling across this crap by searching the name.
I do however agree. This game is unoriginal, boring, and about as scary as a sock puppet screaming "Boo!", and the fanbase is split between creepy basement dwelling neckbeards who avoid employment like it's the plague, and annoying eight year olds that still think jump scares are the scariest thing in the universe. Either way, can it just hurry up and die already?

@Inter
No, it was copyright. If players make money off of DevEx then they are liable for copyright infringement. Since 5n@f games were becoming popular or have the potential to become popular it can become serious.
Censoring the use of the name on the forums, IDK why. But on ROBLOX in general, it's to make sure nobody makes a game using that name. That's also why most of the legitimate remakes were renamed. |

Remake or not, surely they could still sue for copyright infringement if money is made off of it?
I mean if I were to go make a game right now called "Four Nights at Wendy's" about surviving an animatronic version of that creepy ginger chick on the logo, and proceeded to sell it on Steam, I'm pretty sure Scott could still sue me. I didn't rip the name off but the concept is a carbon copy.
Ah well, just another reason that ROBLOX should ban anything related to this overused excuse of a game. |

i think scott cawthon has much better things to do than go around sueing kids sites
and if were running by fanbase logic, BAN MY LITTLE PONIE! |
