After a brief bit of turbulence your pod crashes through a window into Chronus station.

The radio is programmed with the contact numbers of the extraction team and an on-hand agent to give you information when needed, equipped with a handle of rum and a stack of encyclopedias. |

I punch in the number for the Handling Agent and start checking my EVA for punctures and other such damage. |

Your suit is free of any punctures and other such damage.
Since the window you just shot through has yet to seal, you need to close that with an emergency shutter for the oxygenation to proceed. The switch should be somewhere around here.
You currently have 10 turns left of oxygen.
"Huh. What? Oh, you. Sparks here, I'm here to make sure you don't die horribly, like Agent Jenkins, Claudius, Verum, and Septus." |

"I appreciate your concern. Anyway, I just made my entrance. Anything in particular I'm looking for, or just anything not bolted down?"
I look around for the shutter switch. |

"We're looking for a prewar artifact, it's kept somewhere on the station."
The emergency shutter switch stands beside the shutter, a simple pull lever.

"That's right, I remember now. Hey speaking of which, that bit of the briefing was a little weird. Something about not talking to the artifact? What exactly am I looking for?"
I step over and pull the Lever. |

A shutter pulls down and shuts you out from the void.
"I uh. I'm not sure. I've been told to tell you it may or may not have sentience, and that it also may or may not have telepathy."

"That's some tasty deniability. Also something about Special Gloves, what's that about? Did they pack those in my lunchbox or just modify my EVA gloves?"
I turn on my Light, if I have one, and take a look around. |

"The special gloves are equipped into your EVA suit. If at any point you are to remove your EVA suit and put on some other form of over-armor, a spare set is in your equipment."
There's a door to the left, and a door forward.

"Alright, why the gloves though? Is this thing hazardous?"
I take the door forward. |
|
|
|
You come to a welcome booth and a door to the right labelled 'pod storage'. However, you could continue forward.
"Not sure, it could be."
|
|
|
|
"Better safe than sorry I guess."
I enter the Pod Storage.
Maybe this thing is a pod, who knows? |

You find the pod storage locked. A panel indicates that this is, infact, a fully-fueled maintenance pod.

You could've sworn a hack tool was standard issue, but going in without gear doesn't exactly give you one.
There /is/ a keycard slot.

Normally I would try and use my knife of the slot. But that doesn't strike me as a very good idea. I might need whatever's in here later.
