It used to be 10% for clothes and 25% for Limiteds when they came out, but in 2012 it was turned into 30% for all items for a few reasons: 1) It matches the taxes imposed on other big corporations in real life. 2) It controls the value of Robux to ensure they don't inflate like Tickets are doing right now. 3) It makes it easier to estimate your income and fluctuations in the Trade Currency market.
