So, I was thinking about finally making this little thing into a roleplay, but it seemed like a lot to forge with a singular mind. Anyone want to help? Here's the basics of the roleplay I intend to make: Futuristic (freeroam) roleplay, taking place on a Ecumenopolis (planet wide city). Crime is high, and your character will be new to the world, they can become an officer of the law, or a bounty hunter and work solo, or join a guild and be given jobs and have partners. On the other hand, they can fall to the darkness of crime, and become an assassin or gang leader/member, supporting crime, killing high value targets, and whatnot. Debating on whether or not to have aliens, because I love the thought of having a mixed community but it would also make more work on top of the detail I have to put in to making the scenery.
(with help) I figured near later parts of the roleplay, interstellar travel would be nice, like being able to explore new planets and what not.
Anyway, it's just simple things like:
Locations on the original planet
Planet's after FTL space travel is opened
Sentient alien species
Non sentient alien species
Weapons (this is how you lure a wild Rock and LNG)
Basic culture and fashion
Currency system

It sounds very interesting, and I guess the plot is original enough. But honestly freeroaming types or role-play aren't very popular nor do they last long.
But I could be wrong, since the last time I roleplayed and visited this forum was two years ago.
I might be interested in helping you.

Actually, that's changed a lot. There's a RP nearing 1500 pages that's free roam, and a series of RPs with each thread getting hundreds of pages, and I think that Tear in the Multiverses is free roam as well?
I'd be interested in collabing OP but I'm pretty busy right now

I completely forgot about this post 5 minutes after making this.
I will make the pirate/titanpad tomorrow for all who are interested. Also, don't worry if you're not on the same schedule as someone else, I don't expect this roleplay to be completed within a week much less a day, I'd rather let people gradually add on to it so it becomes well thought out and fun. |

I was having ideas for a story a few months back revolving around a far, far futuristic world where humanity has evolved and is capable of the stuff I listed in a prior thread, FTL travel, terraforming, all that, and eventually it devolved from a story into a lore. The story I was using it for was scrapped, yeah, but I had some cool ideas that I can recycle for you, such as how currency will work, how playing as aliens will work, how starships can work, and how everyone understands each other, with there being different languages and alien ways of communicating. And that's just part of what I thought of.
