Rather than deselecting all the parts of a package you don't want to wear. There should be a package that everyone owns called Default. It's the 1.0 package, making it easier to remove current package parts.

Or add a button on package parts that removes all parts in the same package as the one you selected. [ George Orwell taught me math! 2 + 2 = 5 ]
