I keep finding games that don't have what they promise to be. I mean seriously, Subway Surfers? Yeah, and if we are all tired of these games that pretty much lure you into joining just so the creator could earn big bucks, why don't we make false advertising against the ROBLOX rules? Games like those would get reported and shut down, and the games that actually took time to make get what they deserve.

According to DevEX rules, it can make you permanently banned from using DevEx. So it's technically against the rules already. I don't know how much they enforce it though.

I'll take your word for it, but it doesn't seem like anyone cares. I, however. Find it unfair to make games that don't have effort put into them and they claim they made something like it but they really didn't.

@Real How is this a personal assault? I didn't name anyone in specific. I can smell the false report in the air.. ✖ Delete Post

Yes robux generators are against the rule, so if a game is advertising (ex.) "Phantom Forces Extreme" and it turns out to be a scam, it's kind of like the same thing. That's like buying a product that's warranty to lifetime last, but it turns out that it spontaneously combusts.

As in 'abuse' I mean using in-game reporting to prevent 'fake games'. So you can do | Report > Game > False advertising > Done |

I support, but what exactly is the standard for when something constitutes as false advertising and bannable? We can ban things like "omg free robux" but what @budowniczy10 just declared as bannable isn't necessarly a scam, but rather an attention grabber and form of adverstisement to get the clicker's attention. "See how many times you can click" isn't suggesting a scam in anyway. I agree if the case is "sword fighting tournament, play today!" *goes to roleplaying game for owls* or "Click and play game for free hats!" that they should be bannable, but not generic advertisement strategies. tbh I don't see that many of these scam ads, our ad system is probably the best it's ever been, with a reduction in low misleading ads. Copied ads are annoying, but I'm starting to see even less of those. Then again maybe I just don't click on them enough....

/\ What if you saw an ad or a thumbnail that had Minecraft all over it. And when you joined, it ends up being a boring tycoon. I'd be ticked off if I fell for one of those. ✖ Delete post

@asco If it's a minecraft comic, than I see no problem with it. If the ad clearly states that the game being advertised is minecraft or minecraft themed and isn't, then there can be a problem. Regardless, I'm confident saying that minecraft ads in general are punishable due to copyright.

Well people make ads to lead them to their game. The only problem though: Ad copying like... Fake Grenade The "Fighting Comic" Thing (Example: Mommy?|I mean your dad..|DADDY?! ;~;|WAAAAAAAA) The Pikachu Copy thing with Oshawott But Support

If roblox cared, they would do something about it Roblox was supposedly going to do something about them when game icons were released but I knew that wasn't going to happen and surprise!... it didn't
