They are DEFINITELY going to combine for more than 41+ points |
is it tho?
we all know julio will get near 30 in a ppr, but adrian peterson is a question mark |
adrian peterson will put up 20+. the dude got a year off, the last time he had a year off (which wasnt even a year off, he tore his ACL), he rushed for 2k |
petey will get 30 points alone |
@amazing
that's the only reason i traded for him (and the fact it was demarco murray for him... i cant possible lose that!) but he's 30 so although he's a beast and especially when everyone is doubting him, can that really be counted on? |
PPR = ??
im playing espn fantasy football for scores per td and certain catching yards and stuff. the top player in my league got 122 points lol

idk if u will
i had odell and demaryius and they combined for 10 pts so i mean |
@wist
i wouldve traded odell bcuz i knew he was gonna have a 'down season' now that defenses prepare for him
and DT did bad cuz peyton isnt as good anymore (and they played a good D)
julio has matt ryan who is good and plays a bad D
@slice
PPR = you get a point for every catch
makes a huge difference |
well then if top in ur league is 140 pretty sure 122 for my league is a lot dam

will you cry if they get 39 or 40 :( |
Age doesnt matter as much as how long youre in the league.
Peterson has missed two seasons, so hes as fresh as a 28 yr old would be. (right at the end of his prime, maybe a little past it) |
age makes a HUGE difference, especially for different positions
qbs can reach 40 and still perform, but a rb gets to 34-35 and they're retired |
@vikings, thats dependent on how much abuse they take throughout their careers.
would you say that 2014 AP was too old to have a great year?
no. |
no, but i think 2016 or 2017 peterson will be down to an average running back who wont be able to speed past anyone anymore
heck, 2013 peterson you could tell he had slowed down from past years |
yeah no
sorry in 2013 he didnt put up back to back 2k seasons, but he was still the best back in football.
what has changed since then? little to nothing. |
he was still the best back, sure, but hes gotten slower as time has moved on |
ok my point is hes still the best back
and people dont just get slower around age 30, NFL players do because they absorb punishment.
hell, usain bolt just ran his fastest opening 100m time ever recently, and he is how old again? |
hes not taking abuse though
rbs hit their prime at around 27 cause they take so much abuse from defenders so their physical capabilities deteriorate |

"fastest opening 100m"
that means nothing. his finals are on the down curve. |
yeah, a very very slight down curve. is he not still the fastest man on the planet???
just like AP might have a very very slight down curve, but hes still the best RB in football.
how/why are you guys arguing this |

9.58 to 9.79 isn't a slight drop in sprinting. It's a NOTICEABLE drop.
A 9.79 would get you FOURTH in the 2012 Olympic finals. |
then tell me. how is he still the fastest man on the planet if he's gotten so much slower? |
