Bass opened the crate, and found exactly what he was looking for. Guns. Well, just a few pistols, but it would suffice for some of the others, and himself. He took the Colt 9mm and put the chest on his bed, still open.

Bass reached the basement level of the platform. "This leads on to the lifeboats. You guys stay here and build up a barricade for some cover in case we get found. There's some packing crates in the corner. I'll go find the lifeboats and check if they're still there." Bass proceeded through the next door.
