Try buying a windows xp cd on ebay then take it out once you load the cd then install the windows 8 or 10 cd.
That glitch helps ensure the CPU sectors are secure so if a CPU sector is corrupted, the corrupt installation on the windows xp cd when you take out the cd will restart and the boot corrupts the CPU sectors and the boot forcefully secures the CPU sectors (especially if you have a boot virus) then the windows 8 or 10 cd can clean install then replaces the clean secure old sectors and replace them with virus-free sectors so if the old sectors are free, the new installation updates the clean old sectors and replace the with completely new virus-free sectors and OS because when you update without doing the glitch, it is possible to get boot viruses and os viruses like Win32.Randirect. Hope this helps.
