Recently, I have seen an increase in users getting banned for seemingly unjust reasons. Reasons such as using a word to describe someone's s3xual orientation but not using it as an insult. Also getting banned for something as stating a harmless stereotype that isn't offensive. Here is just a list of ways the Admins can crack down on these problems. 1- "Assumed PA's". This is a huge problem especially in ATR. When a player goes on the front page and sees a filthy inappropriate game they want to warn other players. Therefore, they go on the forums and state how this user uploaded a game that is heavily violating the rules. SIMPLY STATING THE USER'S NAME makes them 10x more guilty than the culprit himself and they are banned. This is extremely unnecessary as in order to get rid of these games, you must know what players are making them and have everybody report them. With this bogus rule, it's impossible to do so. That's why these games take longer to get rid of. Instead of banning the player making these games, they ban the users who talk about this rule-breaking player. These aren't good priorities. 2-"Discussing Moderation"- Please don't assume before reading this part. Read it fully, as it might not mean what you think it does. This basically means players should be able to discuss and evaluate on the forums whether a ban was uncalled for or unfair and too harsh. This doesn't give them the right to bash the moderator, but it gives them the right to decide with other users whether this was a just action. Emailing roblox doesn't help, as they send you a message stating "just read the box where it states you've been banned". That is irrelevant and doesn't help. 3-"Hate speech" This is a problem I recently encountered myself. ROBLOX regards many posts as "hate speech" when they were simply mentioning a harmless stereotype. In a recent post, a user who will remain anonymous was banned 1 day for saying "ching chong" in the subject of a thread. The title was not hinting or stating that this phrase belonged to a certain race. The mod however, simply assumed that it did and banned the user. This is another unnecessary moderation action that is taking things way too far. Mods need to ban people because THEY ARE breaking the rules, not because they THINK THEY ARE. That's all for now, hopefully you got the gist of what needs improvement in the moderation system.
