Nevermind! Found another way. Install extension on Chrome ROBLOX+ :). Works on computer, don't know about mobile.

Okay, well you're going to need Chrome.
First, open up Chrome, and type in Google Chrome Extentions, or click the link( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions )
Top left corner, in the Search Bar, type in Roblox+ and get the extension.
Then open up your friend's list and hover over one of your friends(banned or unbanned) and click unfriend.

Okay once I get the extension, how do I remove it? I just like having my browser simple and clean, no extensions. |

Go to "Friends" and you'll see a button "Remove"

im late af, but this site works. It's a version of ROBLOX that has the "unfriend" tab, and you can unfriend banned people on this. np

On the newly updated Roblox mobile app, you can easily unfriend any 'restricted user'. |

Get roblox+ on google chrome than go to your friendlist and unfriend them,Simple |

It's pretty sad that this is an actual problem. What is going ON with the web design team? The same problem exists with hats in your Collection. If they're not in your inventory you can't remove them from your collection. |

Same problem occurred to me.
I have contacted ROBLOX because of it and there is no currently way to remove it, how ever they stated to check back regularly to see if the problem has been fixed.

You need R+ (ROBLOX+) You can unfriend banned/termaccount/accountdeleted

I'm going through unfriending the people I requested spontaneously, but a few of them are restricted. I tried unfriending them the standard way but nothing will happen. Any help? |

They are in ban land so the way to unfriend them, you go to your friends an find him/her's acc. , then go to the 3 dots and click 'Unfriend"

Idk, I'm on mobile too but they updated it so we can't even search people. If I go to where it normally says search people; it just has search games in both. #### ###### #### |

I've found out that if you go to your friend list there should be 3 dots next to the banned person's name click that and u can unfriend them
this might be only for Roblox plus
