They can't fix this, unless they used an engine that searched only for the word you selected, and items that only had that/those word(s) in them, and this would make it a lot worse.
Also, the only reason that this is happening is because there are a lot of items on the ROBLOX catalog, and they can't control them unless they delete spam/copied items, and that would be too much work IMO for it to be worth doing. And even then, the count would just rise back up after a certain amount of time.
