Hey guys, Earlier today I lost connection to a game and my CPU card froze. I had to quit ROBLOX due to this. When I tried to reconnect to the game, I got the annoying "Failed to connect to the Game. (ID=17: Connection Attempt Failed)" message. Now, I have had this before, and just restarted my session, and played a different game. This time, it started doing this on every game I tried to play. I have tried many different suggestions on how to make it stop doing this, except none of them have solved it. It has now been doing this for 6 hours and I am getting quite confused. Does anyone know how to fix this with other than the following attempts: -Restart ROBLOX session -Restart Laptop -Uninstall and Re-install ROBLOX player -Log in and log out -Check internet or plug in an Ethernet cable If you can help with this, that would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Nickster

Shouldn't be a hardware issue on my laptop. It is pretty much a brand new ASUS ROG with 4th gen Intel. I am starting to believe it is telus though. They have some defect routers.

Good news, resolved! This is also a tip that may help out with some other windows 10 users with this problem: Check your search browser that ROBLOX is running on. After a while, or a few ROBLOX updates, Microsoft Edge will not become supported to the latest ROBLOX version. This may be the same case with internet explorer. To solve the connection issue, download Chrome, Firefox, (most recommended ones) or others... Chrome and firefox are constantly supported by ROBLOX. This will make sure that any ROBLOX updates will not break the connection to all games. Hope this helps for other people with this problem.

It's an issue with Edge and you're CPU might be busted as well since you claim it constantly "Freezes" for you.

Don't forget, Always be-careful about installing Updates for Windows 10, It can cause problems if you install them. Before you install another update, Get the update id KB######### < Something like that and the # are numbers. And search it. and kinda research how other people experianced it. One guy installed an update and it made his screen flash contenuisly on windows 10, Just cause an update.

Try resetting your router! Also Uninstall ROBLOX [AND GO TO START SEARCH ROBLOX AND DELETE ALL FOLDERS AND ANYTHING THAT COMES UP] ~UserCP

Also, the reason for it crashing constantly is due to ROBLOX being quite an unstable game engine, plus a dual core processor combined with an NVIDIA... Nvidia occasionally hates ROBLOX.

"CPU card froze"? Is this a cell processor or..? I didn't know cell processors were Windoes compatible, I just assumed it was a Sony/IBM thing. Huh. Either way, simple solution is: - Uninstall Windows 10 - Install a better operating system that isn't a keylogger. Windows 10 has some weird protection to the kernel, which prevents a lot of programs from operating properly, especially antivirus programs, or drivers, etc. etc. If it stores anything in AppData it will probably also break too. Plus Windows 10 is literally a keylogger so I wouldn't recommend it. You have zero security using it.

Oh oh oh oh oh My bad. So, how did your CPU card freeze? Actually, how could it? Generally lower temperature is better in terms of performance. A CPU card isn't software, so it can't just be not responding. If your CPU card failed, how are you able to do anything with your PC? Shouldn't that brick the whole system?

I am using a Intel i7 4720hq Quad. Also, what I meant to say is that my Intel display driver crashes constantly. This started happening increasingly more often and then just finally gave in and broke ROBLOX.
