The CDF Engineering division was formed in 2095 when the CDF came up upon a huge stockpile of books about engineering, the books contain the following(not limited to the folowing): Weapon maintenance, vehicle repairing/maintenance, building, weapon mods, and appliance maintenance.
The CDF Engineering division is for the comprehensive people of the CDF, and can host non-combat jobs and combat jobs alike. Upon Joining, the CDF Engineering recruit can choose training in:
Vehicle Maintenance
Weapon modding/maintenance
Building
Appliance repair/maintenance
Town Maintenance(Janitors, building repair, building inspection.)
The Engineers carry a toolbox along with their regular gear, and are issued a sidearm, but they can use any weapon they find.
The CDF engineers is still small, due to the division still being very newly formed.
Rules(OOC):
Being in this group does not give you power over anybody in the regular CDF, the roles in this group are roles, not ranks, your rank in the main CDF is what matters most.
You are to respect anybody OOC, as always. We are equals OOC.
Rules(IC):
You can't fix everything, if the vehicle is totaled or it's engine is blown, you can't fix it with standard equipment.
Weapon maintainers can fit your weapon with a limited amount of sights, barrels, grips, ect, don't ask for a decked out weapon.
Builders have the skill to build shelters like scrap/wood homes.
We aren't mad scientists, we can't build super LERC-8's amd SPR2-k's out of thin air, we can't build laser weapons.
