Recently finished up the alpha version of my medieval fighting game, and, honestly, I'm having some struggles. I thought I did some pretty cool scripting in there, and that I had some cool ideas, but the ad is just not picking up and the game is not gaining popularity. I know this sounds like a stereotypical problem, but I used to be a pretty dedicated builder back in the day, and I'm eager to get back into things. I feel like I might be missing the mark with this one, however. Could anyone check on my game design and give me (literally any) comments on it? What you think is good? What you don't like? Compare it with your favorite games of all time and tell me why mine sucks, if you will. I just need another pair of eyes. Will be checking back on this post regularly today! Oh, and the ad is running, so you should have at least one other person come in to "help you test." Thank you for any help you can offer!

Comments on why the thumbnail, title, or anything else might not be attracting people to press "play" are also especially appreciated.

I don't think it is just the ads. The gameplay looks to similar to Medieval Warfare

To be honest , you probaly have put alot of effort to make that thumbnail but its not that good, Try investing your funds on someone who knows how to make a really good thumbnail, Visited your game and it already looks promising , Goodluck in the future and keep building !

The game itself was fun to play and the two other people in my server said they loved it. It would be good to invest into a professional thumbnail, and maybe even a video to hook people into playing the game. Because it doesn't matter how good the game is if you cant get people to click the play button. I haven't seen the ad yet but if it isn't getting many clicks or if you have any doubts about the ad then I would pay for a professional one. Something else that could be your problem is not putting enough tix into your ads, for me 10-20k tix gets around 10-20 people in the server at all times, but if your game is really fun then you might be able to retain people and have more than that. Hope some of these tips helped, and good luck

Wow, these comments are way better than I thought they'd be! Thanks so much guys. I'm at work but as soon as l get home I'll be reviewing all of this. Anything else? Also, where do you guys recommend finding professional thumbnail/ad creators (also, are they on or off roblox)?
