In my opinion Hockey is a team game and it should be played that way. A good work ethic does not matter in a shootout, and it takes away all the team effort. If you have a tough team which works hard, but doesn't have a ton of skill, you will automatically lose in a shootout, whereas in a 3v3 OT or something, it's a mixture of skill and determination. Anyone else feel this way? |
