pros -ajax -php is a noob's language -Php can be procedural and oop when it wants to. Php has more of a community, too. cons -php is a broken spoon without mysql(i).

If the website is written in a certain language there is a reason they used that language, and obviously everything now works using that language. There's no reason to completely rewrite the site when everything is just fine.

not everyone uses chrome I do but firefox is better
