Back in town, Rouke is talking with his sister. She says that she has a letter to a priestess in Berna.
"Do you need some one to deliver it?" Rouke asks.
"Yeah. I know you haven't been all that busy lately- would you mind delivering it for me? All of the local courriers seem to have their hands full." She says.
"All right. Who does it need to go to?" Rouke asks.
"Alena Dawngarden, head priestess of Amestris Church in Berna. You'll know her when you see her." His sister says, handing him the note.
Rouke takes the note.
"I'll leave in an hour. I was already planning a trip to Berna, anyway." he says, as he heads out the door.

Actually, I've pretty much quit already... Throughout the whole RP, it's been moving like a slug. |

I know it's moving slow... dangit.
Any ideas for another event? Preferably one that would give us a reason to travel together?
I had an idea, but with this cast of characters, it wouldn't go well.

(We'll just keep going then. Sorry for inactivity. Again, school makes me it's slave.)
Rouke is walking outside, returning to his home. Ahead of him, four cloaked figures walk opposite to him.
He passes them. He hears a voice ask, "Where you one of the warriors at that warehouse earlier?"
He stops and looks back at the cloaked man.
"What's it to you?" Rouke asks. His hand is on his new sword's hilt.
"I'll ask again. Where you one of the warriors at the warehouse?" the cloaked man asks. His three other friends are stopped as well.
"Yeah... so?" Rouke says.
"Hmph. Thought so... Can you tell me where the Dragonman that took the device is?" The figure says.
"Not a clue." Rouke replies.
"Then you shall die." The man unsheathes a long blade, slashing at Rouke.
Rouke jumps back nimbly, dodging the rapier with an inch to spare. He unsheathes his sword, which changes color into a eerie blue, and jumps into a stance ready for a fight.
The other three robed figures reveal their weapons as well. The one farthest from Rouke pulls out a black mage's rod, and starts chanting as a glowing red circle appears beneath him. The one to the right aims a wicked looking bow and arrow at Rouke's face, and the guy to left starts throwing knives.
As the archer shoots his arrow, Rouke leans out of the way, and deflects two of the throwing knives with his blade. He launches an Azure Edge at the swordsman, who dodges out of the way, leaving the mage vulnerable. The pulse of energy hits the mage in the face, knocking him back and stopping his chant.
Rouke uses the distraction to his advantage. He lunges at the swordsman with his blade, using his Tiger Blade to knock the man in the air. He spins around and slashes another azure edge towards the archer, and knocks one of the knive wielder's blades back at him.
All four of the attackers are on the ground, unconscious. Rouke ties them up and removes their weapons. Let the guards take care of this, he thinks. |

This is why I hate school for making me it's mental betch... eats up all my imagination.
Well, I'll continue with my other idea, then. It'll be a relief having just two races or playable species to worry about balancing. |
