Always remain calm when dealing with passengers, never raise to their level and deal with the situation in a calm manner, if it becomes too much, seek attention of a high rank. If you do not have administrative powers, seek attention of a high rank immediately. Always show professionalism, if you speak inappropriately, you will be given ONE strike on your report. II. Training at flyuk.aero You will have two tests. A final written test that will be included at the end of your final training and you PM the answers to our Chief Staff Officer or our Chief Executive Officer. You will also have a second test, a practical test where you attend a flight to perform your duties. Once you have passed both tests, you will be ranked to the rank you applied for. All staff members are required to attend a ‘training’ at least twice a week at the airport. (This airport will be mentioned in the group shout.) At these meetings you will continue working on the systems relating you your job and you will also work on customer service. These trainings are away from the training system and are hosted by our Chief Staff Officer. If you do not attend at least twice a week, without completing our inactivity report (to do this, PM the Chief Executive Officer), you will be given ONE strike. III. Uniform At flyuk.aero, we have a precise dress code you must follow at all flights, please ensure you wear the full correct uniform at a flight, or you will be given ONE strike. For Chief Officers: you must by uniform for all ranks, and wear the uniform for the job you are doing at that flight. No t-shirts are to be worn over your uniform. Uniform policy may change when new uniform is introduced. IV. Working at flyuk.aero As a staff member, you must arrive to the flight 30 minutes before the shouted time. Job assigning for staff is open 30 minutes to 20 minutes before the shouted time. This is where you will be assigned a job for the flight. If you fail to turn up during these times, you will not be working at the flight. There may be times when there are lots of staff at a flight, obviously, not all staff are going to be able to work at the flight, but if you attend and go to the job assigning booth between these times, it will count as if you attended the flight. When you are working, you must work to your very best to our expectations, if you are found slacking, you will be given ONE strike. You must use full English and grammar, as stated in section I. Just after job assigning closes, all staff are to go to the airport lounge where they will be briefed for the flight. Once this briefing is complete, you go straight to the area where you are working. This briefing will be held by a chief officer. After the flight, all staff go to the airport lounge once again where they will be de-briefed. There will be discussions over what has gone well at the flight and what hasn’t gone as well. Points and strikes will also be given out at this time. This briefing will be held by a chief officer. You must wear full correct uniform at all flights as stated in section III. If you are unsure on what to do, consult your staff handbook or speak to a colleague. V. Operations of Flights Flights are to be run by ranks of Board of Directors and higher. You must also be qualified to host a flight, do not ask to host a flight, you will be approached by the Chief Executive Officer when you are ready to host a flight on your own. When you are qualified to host flights you can be given the responsibility of hosting a pre-planned flight or you plan your own one and put it on the group shout in the following format: (brackets are where you change the information) [Flight] (Day. Examples: Tuesday, Today, Tomorrow) at (Time. Example: 7pm BST/2pm EST) at (Airport. Example: Keflavik International Airport). Here is a completed example: [Flight] Tuesday 6th August at 7pm BST/2pm EST at Keflavik International Airport. A shout with a flight on it is not to be over-shouted. If you need to urgently put something on the shout, put it after the flight information. Remember the 255 character limit! The airport where the flight is being hosted must become inactive 3 hours before the shouted time, and become active 1 hour before the shouted time. Ask a developer or the Chief Executive Officer to do this. You must keep to the time schedule at all times, if you move away from this schedule, you will be given TWO strikes. (The schedule will be given to you by the Chief Executive Officer) Do not hesitate to contact me via PM. SapphireDan Chief Executive Officer
