Competitive and thus shrinking the audience of clans to a select group of skilled or "experienced" fighters who's intent is more to win than much else, simultaneously encouraging leaders to enforce exclusivity and not growth.

people say clans are dying because all talk no action |
Then these "elites" just flip-flop between a few clans to fight these final battles, meaning even MORE exclusivity, and a gap of skill between the "C&G Clans" and any other clans, meaning no one takes clans outside of this toxic "community" seriously. |
you're literally clueless which is why there's no point arguing with you
you completely ignore the fact that RCL had actually boosted the activity of clans and prolonged it's survival, the introduction of RCL literally drived in hundreds of new members into the clan community and most of them actually hold notable positions in some of the more mainstream clans now. RCL was incorporated into multiple significant clans including VAK because of how heavily favored it was by the whole clan community, blackmagic of all people should know this since the clan he dedicated most of his time to on ROBLOX was one of the first to implement RCL to their trainings and still holds RCL battle leagues to this day |

Exactly my point alex.
Anyway the only way to rapidly grow clans is to eliminate the "skill" standards pushed by this toxic community and start encouraging things like mass recruitment to reach out to ROBLOX's majority. |

most people who say clans are dying are stuck in the past
obviously clans weren't as fun as it used to be not because of the clans we have today, but because we are not 13 years old anymore |
lol final battles
alex maybe do some research on what clans actually do nowadays and what the problems are before suggesting solutions and blaming things that had nothing to do with the downfall |
Am I saying get rid of RCL? Am I blaming RCL for everything?
I understand it's under your best interest to protect your technologies, assets and other such things but what has RCL done past a resurgence a couple of years ago? Why do I not return to C&G to see clan activity like I used to? I see more people arguing, off-topic threads and threads saying clans are dying than any actual clan operating. I haven't actually even seen an ongoing war yet. |
Yeah let's blame a set of guns for off topic posts and arguing |
Are you reading my points or do you just believe every tiny thing on this website relates to you and the guns you use. |

it's the community |

Set of guns whose skill-oriented techniques served as a catalyst for the growth of a competitive and sports-like atmosphere and community which led to exclusivity thus excluding ROBLOX's majority.
It is the community not the guns/technique themselves. |
How is the ROBLOX majority excluded? While I agree that RCL definitely changed the competitive scene, I disagree that you need to be good at it to get somewhere in clans. |
Most clans die if they aren't financially and communally supported by the C&G community, the C&G community is a highly competitive community with a large amount of skill, high learning curves due to the RCL skill and to break into it, you have to be able to prove yourself with skill, money, technology and all sorts. It's excluding the simplicity of clans which made them work in the first place. |
Actually it's the opposite Alex, clans that aren't reliant on the forums are actually doing exceptionally well now (NUSA, RAT, VAK, etc.) |
One could argue that it's not clans that are dying, it's this subforum. |
Can you list 10 exceptionally active clans that don't rely on C&G. |

rcl didn't prolong jack
it assimilated clans into following along the mentality sponsored by c&g groups (which is where almost all of your clan experience comes from) promoting a hostile attitude towards newcomers, an obsession with war and the reliance of marketing on the forums. |
RAT
VAK
USA
UNSC
AA
TSE
FC
CA
WW2 groups
SW groups |
Wannabet you are literally an idiot nothing you say had any factual evidence to it because you make it all up |
Besides VAK, do any of those groups patrol their bases almost 24/7? |
Yeah Alex, and they can all rally 30+ |

on the topic of assimilation, it also made the weaponry clans used less unique because now they would have to adhere to a certain standard in order to have a competitive advantage in wars (which rclers and forum clans stressed tried to impose on others as being the most important factor to groups)
genre clans on the other hand are successful in part due to the uniqueness of their experience (weapons being an important factor), which rcl acts as a roadblock from making that happen in traditional war clans |
Then if anything, I'd agree this message board is dying somewhat, but I still believe that clans aren't anything as active as they used to be, it's easier to see when you take such huge breaks between going and coming back. |
There's way more than 10 I'm just not involved in the roleplay community enough to name them all, but if you ask someone like Celestus who is he could literally post a long ass list |
