Below will be all information you need to know in order to properly assimilate into House Wayne. There will be a description of each occupation as well as guidelines for achieving such a position
CITIZENSHIP:
So, you want to be a Westerosi? While various requirements are detailed throughout this book, they are consolidated them here for easy reference.
A House Wayne Citizen will:
Camp with the House's Legions at Wars we attend.
Receive our periodical, detailing House-related events and highlights, war registration information, and recognition of the efforts and contributions of citizens throughout the realm;
Have their character identity and social status documented as a member of the People of Wayne, and a citizen of the Westernlands.
Have the offer of citizenship extended to them by the Lord of House Wayne. This supersedes all other requirements.
SOLDIERS (MILITARY)
To enlist in our glorious army as a soldier, you must:
Fight with us at any battles or Wars we attend;
Fill out the Citizen Data Sheet provided to you at your first event;
Attend at least eight battles as a recruit or at least one full War;
Take and follow the military oath (ask any knight+);
Agree to and sign the Contract of Citizenship;
Own and wear a footman's armor (see Clothing);
Paint the Wayne Crest on your shield if/when you have one;
Understand and adhere to the laws set down by the Lords and People of the Westernlands;
Find a knight willing to accept you as a squire.
Military service is a long-term commitment. House Wayne has a lot to offer a new recruit. House Wayne is the best unit you will ever have the privilege to join. But understand that your wish to join must be more for Wayne's greater glory than for your own. Referring to the first martial law: House Wayne will not be taken advantage of.
CIVILIANS(CIVILIAN CITIZEN)
To become a private civilian of the House, you must:
Fill out the Citizen Data Sheet provided to you at your first event;
Understand and adhere to the civil laws set down by the Lords;
Own a GoT costume and wear it at any events you attend in your non-combatant capacity;
Take and follow the military oath (ask a knight+).
Civilians have no need for, or access to, military secrets. Neither are they bound by martial laws. Our focus is obviously military, but civilians contribute significantly to the House and will earn recognition for their contributions.
Civilians may not hold elected office; However, they may be appointed by a Highborn or serve on a committee. |
