BE IT ENACTED BY THE U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, Section I - A Resolution This House Resolution shall be known as the "Speaker Pro Tempore" Resolution. Section II - Duties The Speaker Pro Tempore: - is chosen by the Speaker of the House of Representatives - must be an elected Representative - can host sessions in case the Speaker of the House is not fit to do it - may vote unless he/she is the one hosting - can be removed by the Speaker of the House or 2/3 of the Representatives -House Minority Leader.
