A few, very young survivors met up one day in Hawaii, in what was left of Pearl City, in Crane Town. Whilst in the bar, they agreed the CDF didn't do enough for the people. The result of their discussion was the founding of The Superstes Populi faction, translated as "The Surviving Voice of the People." One of the original members was of latino decent, learning the language from her mother, in which it was her primary language. She gave the suggestion and most people agreed to the name, due to it being unique and having a powerful meaning. In 2094, they had a minor fight with the CDF involving some of the members getting arrested for treason. Eventually the heads of the group found out it was for stealing from merchants based there, as well as assaulting many of the officers and guards. They escaped and were hunted down by the CDF. The heads then exiled the members, knowing that they put their cause in major risk. They decided to make a rule stating not to attack them at any costs unless in self defense, if it comes to that. This was put in place to avoid losing everything they had and what they were working towards. Since then, they have been very uneasy, yet negotiable, with the CDF. They might go to CT to regroup or buy supplies, but would rather to stay away from the CDF because of the "incident". So far they are on decent terms with the USCPF and occasionally buy supplies from them, at total war prices of course. They made different branches, like Combatants, Defenders, Medical Personnel, Looters, and Engineers. They govern themselves based by the leaders of the branches meeting in a council. The overall goal of the Superstes Populi is for a free wasteland where crime never sees the light of day, and people can walk the streets without fear of being mugged, attacked, or even murdered in cold blood. While this goal is impossible currently, the short-term goal is to eradicate bandits, but not the Sandsharks, for they are a whole new can of worms. The Superstes Populi permanently settled down at the Flood Wall, housing their main council chamber in a shack towards the end, keeping defenders posted on the tower and ramp leading up, and keeping storage and machinery below the surface, in the actual wall itself. As a result, few factions bother messing with them, as they know good and well that two Superstes Populi members could easily hold off several platoons attacking at once, entirely because of the advantage the structure gives. As of 2098, the Superstes Populi have began killing off drug cartels, or any shady characters posing a threat to the people. They also have started a campaign to share rations if they can, though this is often limited, due to lack of supply.
