SECTION I - Introduction

Hello, State of Rockport. Today TheNorwegianFury and 99names are announcing our candidacy in the December of 2016 Gubernatorial Elections. We look forward to the next week or so. This will be quite a different election, many people that would normally run, have left us, having said that, we would like to fill their spots, and I hope that you, the citizens of Rockport will give us the opportunity to do so.

SECTION II - Message from TheNorweiganFury (Governor)

Hello, citizens of Rockport. I wish to represent myself, TheNorwegianFury, as a running candidate alongside with 99names in the Governor elections of 2016. I myself, have been mainly focusing on the Executive Branch in Rockport for quite a bit. Politics and Executive Leadership is what I feel interesting working with, and me as a government leader that have an open mind that listens to anyone's opinion, feedbacks and ideas they wish to share. I want to run as a Governor mainly because i want to “try something new”, as the head of this government. Systematically, I would like to continue building on The State’s structural content by continue the projects started by former Governors, and continue new projects of what I have in mind, and what the People would like to be done.
My Goal: A Strong, Social and an Active State.
My plans for the upcoming term:
Department of State*.
This is an establishment of an already proposed project which will be continued during this term. The department controls all foreign affairs within the State, and handles all the situations of changing relationships in statistics. The Secretary of State will be running this department, aswell as its deputies, and basic employees. *This will only be a re-continue on the project if the project has been launched during the previous term.
Management of the Executive Branch.
I will be focusing that Executive Officials always have something to do. This includes weekly reports. Checking regularly on how employees within each executive department work in regular.
This will be holding a strict procedure if a department is to remain inactive, incapable and inexperienced/untrained.
Management for Department of Committees
I will not be prioritizing this, but this is something I will be going through during the upcoming term. Department of Committees consists of Committees that some are active, and some inactive. What I will be managing, is the activities within these Committees. I might make an Executive Order to establish the rank “Director of Committees” into Department of Committees, which will add up another cabinet office. The Director of Committees is a department head, which has in responsible to control, oversee and manage committees within Department of Committees. He/She shall also be responsible in picking/electing Committee Heads for each committees once this is established. The Director of Committees may also request a suspension of a Committee to the Governor with a valid reason.

Now. You might still be wondering why I’m running for a position that requires a good amount of intelligence to handle with. Well, I’m interested in politics, and I would like to show what I can do in a new position I never have been in. I also would like to give a try for this spot, and I will learn new things based on a Governor’s duty.
I have also a will to improve the system of this State, which in all hope, could bring Rockport into a more stronger and stable position than it currently is.

SECTION III - Message from 99names (Lieutenant Governor)

Hello, citizens of Rockport. I am running alongside TheNorweiganFury, as Lieutenant Governor candidate. Having said this, you may be wondering “what congress experience does have”?
Well, I am a previous Senator, and Lieutenant Governor. I’d like to address the Lt. Governor rank that I held. A day or two after we had been elected, a Skype call was leaked between the Governor and someone else. Someone had recorded it and he had stated things that really should have only gotten him removed, but also got the term removed. I felt that this needed to be addressed, as some of you do not know the full situation.
Aside from that, let’s discuss my plans as Lieutenant Governor. Of course the main purpose of the Lt. Governor is to preside over the Senate. Having said this, as Lieutenant Governor I will host weekly senate sessions, of course. Along with hosting weekly senate sessions, possibly hosting another makeup session for those who could not attend. I will try and schedule sessions a week or so ahead with a time that fits most schedules, whether it is on the weekend or weekdays.
I do believe you, the citizens of Rockport should know what is going on in Congress, so I would publish “Senate Session Summaries” after every session to keep you, the citizens of Rockport updated, depending on how this goes, the Speaker of the House will do it too as “House Session Summaries”.
I do have a couple bill ideas, but these I will save for debates, etc.
MY GOAL: To have an active, productive, and knowledgeable Senate.
I hope to achieve this goal through introducing new policies/laws that will help with this. For Senate there may also be a sort of “Bar Exam” before being eligible to run for Senator. For sure, if it happens that a “less knowledgeable” Senator, in terms of knowledge of Congress, I will be willing to teach said Senator, helping them so that they, and the Senate may survive, and prosper.
As for feedback, I will leave my messages open for you to send in messages about problems, ideas, and generally how the Senate can improve. I will try to respond to most *appropriate* messages.
As for the conclusion, I wish my competitors good luck in both elections, and future endeavours.

Governor’s Ideas:
Improvement for individual officials. Having active, professional department heads who knows properly how to do their job well, and will remain active.
A New Department. Department of State, initiated originally by bmoreno830, meto02 and myself as Secretary of State at the previous term.
Management of Committees, adding the Director of Committees rank which will manage the committees, making sure they are capable of doing their job aswell as being active.

In conlusion, I, TheNorwegianFury and 99names wish to change Rockport in a better state than it currently is. We are running for Governors to the upcoming term, as of our main goal: To rebuild our state, and to further improve it.
