Battle Network is an explosive team-based combat universe featuring a balanced environment and lag-free servers. TABLE OF CONTENTS - SECURING/DEFENDING TILES - RESOURCES, SHIELDS & MORE - CUSTOMIZATION - ADDITIONAL FEATURES ---- - SECURING/DEFENDING TILES • In order for an attack to be deemed official, 5 hostiles must be present. • If 5 hostiles are present, a 5 minute "Setup Phase" begins. This gives defenders time to react and allows for strategic planning. In addition, anyone in the hub will be alerted of an impending attack. • During the "Setup Phase", the defending outpost is surrounded by a shield to prevent any attack prior to the timer expiring. Once the timer runs out, the shield dissolves. • Upon the discretion of group owners, the Battle Network Bot will shout/post on the defending groups page whenever an attack is imminent. In order to receive this feature, the BattleNetworkBot account must be placed in a rank with shout powers. • Once the "Setup Phase" is over, raiders will have 45 minutes to secure a victory. If the raiders fail to secure the tile in 45 minutes, the raid is over and that tile is locked for 30 minutes. If the raiders capture the tile, it locks until the next day. • The same tile can only be attacked twice a day. Multiple groups will be able to attack the same tile at the exact time. - RESOURCES, SHIELDS, & MORE! • Resources are gained per hour by owning tiles, the more you have the larger your income. • Resources can be redeemed for fortifications, vehicles, equipment and shields, along with more features we will add in the future. • Fortifications will be available to the defenders during each "Setup Phase". In exchange for resources, you can dramatically upgrade the overall defenses of your outpost with bigger walls, barricades, turrets and more. • Vehicles will be available to the raiders during each "Setup Phase". Vehicles include speeders, transport dropships and more. • Equipment such as grenades, rocket launchers, swords, etc. will be available to both the defenders and raiders throughout the whole battle. - CUSTOMIZATION • Weapon skins • Automatic uniforms (for as many ranks) - ADDITIONAL FEATURES • Day and night cycle • Weather and climate change ----- Please take into consideration a small portion of these features may be released some time after the network's initial launch. It is worth mentioning that any clans that partake in the Battle Network will be reimbursed monthly for the visits their members bring to our servers. Our developers have created a reliable way of tracking visits for every group and we intend to utilize it so that groups do not feel as if we are trying to make money off of them.

Here, have my long list of questions How would you go about gaining tiles? Would there be blank tiles? How would you be able to take them? Would there be no blank tiles and you just have to take tiles from other groups? What happens when one group takes all the tiles? Would this be a forever, ongoing thing? Would it just be a limited time event? Would clans be able to join midway through? What groups can enter? What significance would climate change add? Fog? Rain and snow jamming guns? maybe health slowly decreasing in outside areas during sandstorms or snowstorms? How would customizing forts go? Would you just be able to add shields and walls anywhere? (That could get OP) What would turrets do, and how would they be destroyed? Would they be automatic sentry's, or user controlled guns? What would be the overall cost of these items? Would they be optional to use, or would you be required to place down turrets if you own them? What happens if a raid starts and people leave? Will the server be locked, or will it be free to enter? please don't get butthurt over me stating my opinion, especially since this is a video game ffs firstly this idea and many others have been tried many, many times and they've failed on all of them(not saying this will fail, so calm yourself) also i'm stating that in my opinion it seems that the battle network would have some sort of control over the groups within it, even if it is miniscule. @ExaltedArchitect - I answered a good portion of your questions in the original post but I'll answer everything else. "Would there be blank tiles? How would you be able to take them?" Capturing blank tiles will be exactly the same as capturing hostile tiles except there won't be anyone defending. Worst case scenario is multiple groups try to capture the same tile at the exact same time, then you have a problem because the group that holds out the longest is most likely getting that tile. "Would there be no blank tiles and you just have to take tiles from other groups?" During the first day or two of launch we expect see clans to conquer as much territory as possible because that will be the key to getting resources. Quite frankly, I doubt anyone would want to leave any tiles unoccupied. "What happens when one group takes all the tiles?" Although I can almost certainly guarantee you this will never happen, if this were the case then we would most likely expand the map or look for alternative solutions. But like I said, this will never happen so it's not worth worrying about. "Would this be a forever, ongoing thing? Would it just be a limited time event?" We do not plan on resetting the Battle Network holomap occasionally if that's what you're asking. "Would clans be able to join midway through? What groups can enter?" We will have a specific procedure for clans wishing to join post-launch. Activity will definitely be a huge factor in our final decision. "What significance would climate change add? Fog? "How would customizing forts go? Would you just be able to add shields and walls anywhere? (That could get OP)" I'm assuming you're referring to fortifications. Imagine it as a tycoon basically, the defenses are pre-made and invisible until they are purchased. "What would turrets do, and how would they be destroyed? Would they be automatic sentry's, or user controlled guns?" This is something we are still in the process of discussing but as of now the turrets will be user controlled and able to sustain damage as well as repairs. "What would be the overall cost of these items? Would they be optional to use, or would you be required to place down turrets if you own them?" Optional, prices will be revealed once the Battle Network is released. "What happens if a raid starts and people leave? Will the server be locked, or will it be free to enter?" Once the raid timer expires, the tile locks.
