Hello! I am going to be working on a FPS game soon, and I am looking for a development team to help me through the project! I've been really tempted to make one lately, so here I am! I want to start off with just building, then we can move on to other stuff like scripting and what not. We will use F3X to BUILD everything. PM me or post a reply to this thread if you are interested in helping. If we can manage to get the project done by Christmas, I will be able to run ads for 600K+ Tix, which is hopefully a front-worthy page amount! :P

Well, I have a team that's looking for some builders to make some maps and maybe even a few guns... So, if you want to make an FPS, let me know, and I can hook you up with our team. ~There are moderators who moderate us, but who moderates the moderators?~

@light thanks for the offer, but as you can see I am looking to start my OWN team.

You guys are silly, thinking that f3x is bad. I do all of my builds with f3x, and guess what: They still look good. The only difference is that it allows you to build with other people at the same time, and lets you proportions easier. I'm not sure what emotional back story of being scarred as a child you two have, but your opinions are both unjustified, and stupid. Much love -GO

As someone that's been building for as long as I can remember, F3X distorts the proportions in Studio. It's better to use Studio. In regards to your comment, "It allows you to build with other people at the same time", that won't last for long.

As someone that's been building for as long as I can remember, using studio for building is inefficient and impractical, along with risk of crashing and possible losing of auto-save files. In a personal server, it saves no matter what. I'm also not sure what you mean by "distorts the proportions". I'm just assuming that you mean you can't determine them well, which would be the fault of using studio at all, not f3x. Saying it won't last for long makes no sense, other than that you felt the need to reply to my point. It's "lasted" since personal servers came out, since that's the primary point in their existence. If you're referencing multiple studio, it's not out yet and I have high doubts it will be any good if it ever does come out. EVEN SO, it will only be 2 people (from what they've said so far), thus still being impractical for a team. Much love -GO

"using studio for building is inefficient and impractical, along with risk of crashing and possible losing of auto-save files." If anything, personal servers are inefficient. In Studio, it saves no matter what as well. I've crashed countless times, and EVERY time I've had an autosave available to give me all of my progress back. When I say it distorts the proportions, I've referencing that if you choose to change the increments using F3X, it can offset everything, resulting in difficulty developing in Studio. Not only that, the increments in F3X are inefficient as well. Using the rotating function of F3X can also lead to small changes in the rotation. For example, if you set the rotation increments to 1, instead of rotating the brick to {0,45,0}, it can rotate to {0,44.999991,0}.

Are you serious? If you're messing up proportions it's from incompotence on your part. It's not that hard to just use a multiple of an increment all the time. My mind is blown if you've never seen the crack glitch with studio, since the logic you're attempting to apply to f3x is in reality the exact thing that happens in studio. Good day. Much love -GO

Great, f3x is horrid, and I would also hardly call your builds any "good" but avrage.

@Captain I can't stress enough how little your opinion means to me. You're calling it horrid is supported by literally nothing. I am not intending to be prideful at all in saying that my builds are pretty obviously high quality - I state this from my numerous offers of 20k+ robux for builds. Anyways, that's my 2 cents. I'm not looking to start another war with someone who refuses to acknowledge logic. I'm out. Much love -GO

Your right, I don't care to change your mind, you can go struggle all you want with f3x, that mean less competition for the fittest. ^_^

i can build better than all of you f3x is not bad and it's good for someone who enjoys convenience in their building; in just the same way that someone who enjoys efficiency would use qcmdutl; and the way someone who enjoys weird guis would use VIP. stop being snobs about how people build, lest you fall to your own stubbornness. rock on, datazone http://www.roblox.com/logo11111-item?id=280137339

in a sense, "The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which relatively unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability to be much higher than it really is. Dunning and Kruger attributed this bias to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their own ineptitude and evaluate their own ability accurately." http://www.roblox.com/logo11111-item?id=280137339

My builder uses F3X. The maps look highly detailed. It depends on the builder, not the tools. ~There are moderators who moderate us, but who moderates the moderators?~

Captain's builds are quite good. I'm pretty proficient at building as well, I just haven't made a showcase because I believe the functionality of a game is more important than the visual aspects. One other thing, detail isn't always the best thing.
