the people on the forums are about 1/200 or so of the roblox community
most of the people on the forums are the ones that are mature and dont like these events
however, that other 199 (given probably not all of it) probably are 7-10 and love the event
you never meet these people because you're never in young kid games |

Support so much... I mean really.. I've just given my account over to my friends to play on it. I mean I use it for forums and sometimes play a game or two here 'n there but really... It got so boring after events were just sponsored. And it takes like two seconds to accomplish those. Then you just move onto the next game, win that. and it's all done. ROBLOX admin-made games were so much better, as they took more time..

I joined in 2013, the golden event year. 2013 has the best events, like Egg hunt 2013, or Winter games 2013. 2013 had the best events. Bantler, I feel your pain. I miss the 2013 events, I want them back like you. |

Well of course not all kids like that stuff. But you know that a lot are. I'm sure you see kids at school who do. I know I did, I'm 17 now and when I was 10 and first played this game it didn't go so well.

2015 would have been a fine year for Roblox if it weren't for these disappointing events. Not do these "scavenger hunt" events lack creativity, but they also tend to be somewhat short. I understand why people would miss the days when events featured (good) original games. I don't want Roblox to devolve, but I definitely want these events to improve.

I'd state this is thread is very precise in it's logic.
However,
Roblox is a corporation that is filled with millions of players around the world, if you believe to take a result count just by asking people on the forums then you're going to only receive about 5-15% of everyone's opinion. That being said, it is not a very good opinion to take from the forums if we all agree that Event's are bad.
Again I will say this, Roblox is a corporation. I'm quite positive their goal is to create income, but todo so they will also need results and analysis... Why would they waste their time on events when people state they rather have original ones created by roblox themselves? Simple. Roblox is making valuable income that they can record into their data, they've possibly done countless data reports on this subject to make sure they are getting the most income as possible.
If you're going to get a better view of the community's opinion it is suggested you start asking around other places instead of the forums were everyone complains? I agree with your point, however it is to my standing that roblox will only do something that players (like ourselves) would want if they got more income... Which they believe will not be possible as their data proves it. |

2015 was a amazing year. We have got amazing updates to studio like smooth terrain, custom particles, neon, unities, a great black Friday, and a awesome giftsplosion, heck, that's only what RŌBLOX has done, never mind the arrival of games like stealth and phantom forces... There's a reason why they are not putting much work into their events, its becuase they want more time to update the studio for better games. |

Well, I agree with everyone who posted, Roblox mainly has a audience for not 5 year olds, but let's say young people. But overall, Roblox has older audiences, most of us on Roblox are 12, for the majority, I'm guessing, don't say your age, Roblox also pays Developers, which is alot.

the majority of roblox is definitely not 12 and up, we just dont see younger kids because theyre usually not on the forums or not in the games that older kids play. they also usually dont talk |

The events might suck this year, but imo everything else makes up. So many new creative games and amazing graphics this year. So many new cool developers. (I LOVE LEGOSEED HE JOINED MY PRIMARY) |
