Stay. I'm not risking dying a few hours before I'm transferred. |

You stay with the gun, as some of your comrades charged at the enemy.
You notice that the Russians retreated into the houses, fortifying them. You can just stay here and let your comrades sort it out, or pump some HE rounds into the house to make the Reds change their mind. |
Blowing them up isn't very Prussian is it? I'll allow my comrades to sort out the problem with some good CQB. |

You sat there in wait, as the Waffen-SS finally found their way in, where muffled gunshots were heard. Soon after, a wounded man was carried out of the house. It was Otto, the recruit that helped you push the gun out.
You could aid him, but the medics are already on the way. What do you do now? |
I'd aid him and keep his spirit up. A few jokes and talking about those waiting for him at home. |

He'd try to brighten up, struggling to smile. When you got him to the medics, who took hold of him, he had lost 1/6th of his blood. You hope that he's okay.
Stay at Field HQ or head towards the building he just cleared, in hopes for a souvenir or two? |
A souvenir of a conflict I didn't fight in? No thanks. I'd remain at the Field HQ to await the transfer and perhaps request if Otto, if he recovers, is also allowed into the division as he had shown just as outstanding bravery. |

As you entered the Field HQ, you spotted Oberleutnant Hans and walked up to him and requested that Otto be transferred also. After a while, Hans agrees.
The medics have stopped the bleeding. He will be back in no time.
While you're at it, why not grab a chocolate bar and some water? |
I'd grab a chocolate bar, some water and perhaps some rations and go and eat with the rest of the division. I'd try and make some new friends and perhaps catch some reading time before we set off again. |

You walked outside and sat on an empty chair, where you ate. After a while, one of the soldiers in the same half-track sat down on the other empty chair. After some time, he reluctantly asked you. "Can... Can I have some of the chocolate?" |
I'd look to him and smile. "Sure pal." I'd say, obviously in German, and I'd hand him the remainder of the chocolate bar. |

"Ah... thank you." He said, gladly, and took a bite. Then another. After a while, he told you his name : Erwin. "Nice to meet you, uh..." he trails off. |
"The name is Heinrich Toft." I'd confirm, smiling to him. "How long have you been with the Waffen-SS, then, Erwin?" I'd continue - still eating my rations and drinking my water. |

"2 weeks. I just got into the Waffen-SS." He answered, taking a bite out of the chocolate. "Where are you from? I'm from Vienna in Austria." |
(Merry Christmas!)
"I'm from Dusseldorf in the Fatherland!" I'd proclaim proudly, with a smile mounted upon my face. Dirt would cover a lot of my face and my eyes would be irritated, slightly red, from the dust particles of the exploded tank just across the street.
"So... how did you feel about the Anschluss? Just between you and me; I won't tell anyone if your opinion is against the Fatherland." I whispered. |

He followed your footsteps, and whispered. "Actually, not much has changed back in our land. The people are more than glad to be part of the Fatherland, but some people, especially the men, didn't like it. I don't care about them, really," he paused as he took a bite. "But, seriously, it's awesome back in town. The new panzers rolled through, and we just loved them." he said delightly. |
"Huh. I joined the Waffen-SS to make my father proud. I don't believe in this stuff. I'm willing to serve my country with pride but not the regime... it's sickening. I'm glad you like to be with us; our nations are natural brothers; yet I pray we don't drag you down alongside us." I'd say, with a light-hearted smile before standing up. "I best get returning back to the HQ. I'm being transferred." I'd say. |

"Ooh. Transferred where?" He asked. |
"No idea. Just to a special engineers division I think" I'd say. |

"Oh, cool. See you soon." He said, as he walked away, and so did you. Upon arrival at the Field HQ, you found a special Sturmpioneer kit lying neatly on your bed. Oberleutnant Hans walked into the room shortly after and told you that you will be transferred to the next battle now. Put on the gear.
Your gear consisted of the standard Sturmpioneer backpack, standard helmet, and a flamethrower. You may now choose your secondary weapon. |
I'd grab the uniform, put it on and grab a Luger P08 as my secondary before heading out to meet the division. |

As you walked out, you realize that you are the first SS-Sturmpioneer in the military. You looked around for your friend, Otto, and there he is, in his Sturmpioneer uniform, sitting on the truck.
There are 2 trucks, with Oberleutnant Hans on one truck, and Otto on the other. Which truck do you get on? |
I'd climb onto the truck with Otto on and begin basic communications such as; "How are you?" and "Are you looking forward to what is going down?" excetera. |

Otto answered your questions, then you asked more questions and so forth. You two had so much fun together you forgot about the time. You two were shaken back to reality by the explosions in the distance, where your trucks are headed.
It's a big village, on the outskirts of Minsk. Friendly infantry in the area, but the Russians are holed up in the suburbs. Your task is to burn them out.
You jump off the trucks, and are immediately plunged into the line of fire, as bullets started clanging off the trucks. The trucks drove in reverse out of the front line, as you moved in.
As you take cover behind a half-collapsed building, you spot a Russian MG nest, unaware of your position, right next to you. Luger or Flammenwerfer? |
I'd burn the entire collapsing building to a crisp and then fire, randomly, into the smoke and flames to kill any hiders or survivors. |
