So I am going to be making a game that focuses on the mechanics of open city gameplay. Rather than making it look "Uber pretty" (Obviously it will still look great) I am going to work on the actual "fun factor" of the game. Any ideas of features I should implement? I am making in depth jobs that aren't as shallow as many open world roblox games and actually impact your gameplay experience.

@Numberless That would be a cool feature to add in as an update :) Thanks for the suggestion.

I made some arcade games once, one was one of those hammer games where you whack it as hard as you can, another was a light up game where you had to push the button once the light was in the right spot. I only made those two though and never got much past it, but that is something I would like to see on ROBLOX.

Try and make as many buildings interactive as possible. No one likes citys with 5 enterable buildings and 102 non interactive buildings that you cant enter.

@Defen Point taken. I will probably start out with a only a few interactive buildings and then slowly make each one more interactive till 70% or more buildings are interactive. Right now I'm just working on a prototype.

Make all the enterable buildings first, then fill in the blanks with non-enterable buildings, just to make sure you get enough in.

Make jobs that are actual jobs, not something you can idly gain cash from. the basics like delivery and then there could be some sort of clerk where npcs have different items appear on the conveyor and you have to swipe them into a bag and place it into their cart, rinse and repeat, but if you take too long you get fired maybe a janitor that has to destroy randomly spawning trash, and if the trash reaches a certain number you get fired you get the point

Give the game pre generated (a lot of these) "quests" that you can go on for your specific job.
