In my place, I used to be able to push these bricks. Now, I cannot.
They are not anchored. When I F3X tools and move them and change the size, they become to be pushable again. What gives?
Thanks! |

UnAnchored the brick.
UnAnchored - Means it will move.
Anchored - Means it's locked in it's position and the only thing that can alter it is a script. |

Did you even read my post? :P
"They are not anchored." |
|

It might be because they are "compatible" faces. For example... studs go into inlets, so, they cant be pushed. Idk if that is still a thing or not, however. |

They're both "flat." There are no studs or anything like that. |
|
|
Even when flat, if the joint mode is 'always' the brick might be joined to the ground, so lift the part a bit off from the ground and it should be pushable again. |

Where do I change that? |

Do you have the default physics settings? |
|
|
Where it says 'join' (Either in Home or Model section) There are three options. 'Always' makes joints always, even without proper surfaces. 'Surface only' makes joints with only the appropriate surfaces and 'never' simply never makes any joints. |

It is in default mode and I changed it from Surface Only to Never. It's still not working. |

Use the movement tool to lift it off the ground, and then let it go. Does it fall? |
|
LoopulkJoin Date: 2010-08-09 Post Count: 49 |
Yes it falls. They are not anchored. They TECHNICALLY can move (when I speed myself up to like 64 or 128 I can see them move), but changing their size (bigger or smaller) by a single stud makes them A LOT more pushable (even at 16 speed). |

Check for weld instances in the bricks. They can be created by default if two parts are joined. |

Uh, you could try changing their friction. Depends on what you are using them for. |
|
|
How big are they? Try changing their friction, ta
Hat MIGHT help. |

Weld instances? All surfaces are smooth. There are no welds on any sides.
As for changing the friction, I really can't have a slidey ground or slidey bricks.

They're NOT welded.
When I speed myself to high numbers, they move. When I use F3X tools to resize them and move them, they become movable again. Without those, they barely move. |

they're too fat & heavy daddy

When I use F3X tools to make them bigger, they move. They're not too heavy. |
