I've been noticing that some shouts that the High Ranks put up seem dull and some unnecessary. Now I will go to the basics of how you need to shout. When shouting you will be required to use these brackets: ( ) [ ] { } The ( )'s will be used for things that are not as important, urgent or won't require immediate attention. Some examples are: (Training Over), (Forum) etc. Anyone who will use these brackets improperly will have their shout immediately corrected! The [ ]'s will be used for things that are important, the shout would mean something is definitely going on. Some examples are: [Parade], [Assembly], [Recruit], [Training] etc. Anyone who will use these brackets improperly will have their shout immediately corrected! The { }'s will be used for things that are important, urgent and require immediate attention. Some examples are: {RAID}, {DEFEND}, {GARRISON}, etc. When posting one of these you will be required to put the message that is in the brackets in capitals! Anyone who will use these brackets improperly will have their shout corrected immediately! When planning to shout always look at the current shout. Say you want to host a patrol, and the current shout looks like this. (Forum) Please read! You may shout out your patrol but please re-shout the forum! It should look something like this. [Patrol] Come and patrol!(Forum) Please read! Re-shouts will only last for 1 day! Once a whole day has passed you shall not re-shout the same shout over again, but a different one. Never re-shout a training, raid, defense, patrol or assembly! Anyone who shouts improperly shall be corrected immediately! Some things to look out for! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When putting in a shout you may add an explanation mark at the end of it.(!) However don't exaggerate and put 5 explanation marks.(!) Always use grammar! The rule applies to all related group activities, so that includes shouting! When shouting a training that is over don't add any comments afterwards unless your re-shouting a previous shout! It should look something like this: (Training Over) or (Training Over) [Re-shout] Re-shout words.... The reason we don't want the (Training Over) shout to have any comments afterwards is because it is unnecessary to put down who ranked up, who was a problem, who was your favorite etc. You may however congratulate people that have reached a new stage to the middle ranks or the high ranks. Good example: (Training Over) Congratulations to lolo87 for reaching to the middle ranks! Bad examples: (Training Over) Congratulations to all who have ranked up! (Training Over) wed45 has shown great skills today. This should have covered everything I went over, if you have any questions you are welcome to post below or p.m. me. -JanBrzeszczykiewicz Not in the group?
