Everyone is trying to accomplish the games goal, whether it be longer and/or harder than the others. Some spend hours getting better gear, better tools to help them in the game and most of the time everyone has the opportunity to get them. Don't cry inequality about the fact you don't spend the time nor effort in order to accomplish that goal.
When you claim that everyone is treating women unfairly that's fine whatever. But if they're not taking the time in order to accomplish the games they're playing they're not gonna get anywhere. So don't cry inequality in game. Some are more wealthy, some have better tools, others are just good at the game.
Take the time to learn and get better at it, not complain that others are treating you unfairly at the fact you're not good at it. |

Silly, I highly respect and appreciate your civil and well thought out response. I shows a lot of character. But, sadly, anyone can be good at video games, but with a male dominated market, most video games treat women like garbage.
A prime example would be the highly popular and disgusting GTA series. |

Let's be honest. Nearly 73% of the gaming market is actually ran by males. So game developers keep this in mind when they make their product. Because such a high dominance of males is in the gaming market females don't get as much attention because there's not as many of them.
If a developer was to make a game that is ran with a female protagonist (Tomb Raider, and other games I can't name off the top of my head) it will still sell, but the female has to be as strong if not stronger than most characters you see in video games.
So yes, point taken females are "neglected" in this market. However if I personally was to make a video game, it would be pointed to a more male audience because of the numbers of males vs females.
Then again, it all comes down to one thing
