Effective today (January 1,2016 at exactly 10:30 PM), GAR will now be following this promotion lay out in order to address the issue of rank hopping (Which as complained by some, is still present in GAR).
Please take note that this will also increase the time needed in order to gain a promotion. So please do not complain if ever it takes a long time for you to get promoted.
Here are the following procedures for promotions.
For Low Ranks:
- LR's will receive a promotion, but will wait for another day in order to receive one. That means, regardless of the number of trainings you attend in the first day, you won't get anything from it because promotions aren't due until next day.
THAT IF only you perform well during training. It's up to the trainer's discretion if you are doing well or not.
For Middle Ranks:
- The only highest MR role that we can give to the troopers would be Lieutenant now. Promotions exceeding Lieutenant (Captain) will require careful deliberation by the HR's. For Commander to Marshal Commanderthere will also be a week long deliberation between the HR's and the Grand Marshal.
Middle Ranks will have to wait for 2-3 weeks before getting a promotion. The length of a Middle Ranks' waiting period will depend on the trainers. If they see you do well in trainings, they can hand you out a promotion if you're consistent for two weeks.
With the intervals required before receiving a promotion, this will also be a strong basis for activity checking. So that troopers won't get a reason not to complain about not being promoted (Especially MR's). You must be COMPLETELY ACTIVE in order for you to receive a promotion.
Basically, you must have the following. Patience, attentiveness, discipline, and decency in combat.
Trainers now have the ability to revoke promotions as long as it is approved by two HCL's (Battalion Commanders for Low Ranks and Feild Commanders for Middle Ranks) however, revoking a promotion will also have to be deliberated by the high ranks as well.
That would be all. I hope this will tidy things up against rank hoppers.
Take note that if any of you has spotted a trooper attempting to rank hop by reasoning and such, report them to the HR's immediately.
Should you have any suggestions, you may contact me. Or for further clarification, you may also approach other high ranks.
